I taught two Yoga classes today and read these at both. After each class, I was asked for copies of them. So, here they are - for those who asked and for those who might also gain something from reading them.

We all know a full moon is the lunar phase that occurs when the moon is completely illuminated by the sun and we can see it all, in it's FULL glory, here on earth.

Do not forget though, be ever mindful of this:

The moon is always, always....full. It is always complete. It is always perfect. It is never that there is half a moon or less than that or anything other than full. It is just that at times we cannot see its fullness . . . and such is true for you too.

You are complete.

You are perfect.

You are full.

It is just that at times maybe you are not illuminated, not all of you, and so you cannot see that you are enough. You cannot see that you have the capacity for all of your dreams, all of your joY, all of your fullness.

You simply may need to change where you focus your light.

The Persian poet Hafiz said this:

"Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, 'You owe me.'

Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky."

Can you do that for yourself? Can you just give yourself unconditional love and acceptance and always have the best intentions for your life so that you never say, "Oh, I wasn't good enough. I failed. I don't deserve that."

Instead, just keep reaching for joY, moving forward, expecting that next beautiful moment or person or idea to come to you and move your deeper into a love for yourself that actually gives off light......because everything is attracted to light you know? Everything.

....and that is what you deserve. Everything.

Like the sun, light up the sky.
