Riches

There is a relationship you have had for almost all of your life, probably since the time you were just a small child, and it is a very, very important relationship, one that has shaped your world in many significant ways.

It is a relationship that not a lot of people are even fully aware of and this fact makes it more complicated, more heartbreaking, more dangerous maybe.

It is your relationship with money.

I have known for years and years that I have a relationship with money, maybe you have to. However, it has only been in the past couple of years that I've realized exactly what it is and how it has shaped the course of my life: hurt me greatly and also brought me tremendous joY.

What you believe about money and your ability to get it, spend it, share it, save it, . . . really dictates a lot of the riches and hardships you will experience in life. Yes, that's right. It really has far more to do with what you BELIEVE about money, than money itself. What you think about is what manifests in your life. This is true for all things.

If you think you are fat, you will see yourself as fat.

If you think you aren't good enough for that guy, you won't get that guy.

If you think someone else is better suited for the promotion, someone else will be promoted.

....and so on and so on.

If you think you don't have money, most likely you will not.

The opposite is true too. If you think you have enough, that money is part of your life and you experience abundance, most likely you will.

It's not that easy though. You can't just walk around saying these things. You have to walk around BELIEVING them. Then, and only then, will things unfold for you in a way that makes it so. This is not often an easy task.

This really shouldn't end here. There is much more to say. For now, if you haven't before, just think about it. What is your relationship with money?

Can you make it more rich?
